Jason Arigoni Begins

Please to announce I have been hard at work on a brand new album. I have assembled an awesome songwriting team ( to be announced soon) to bring you my first full length solo record.

It's heavy, its dark, it's dynamic with plenty of "bounce"

Stay tuned for new merchandise as I incorporate Half Past My Sin into Jason Arigoni

Arigoni Lands Extra Roll on Castle Rock

Please to announce I was an extra on the Hulu Original Show Castle Rock

Castle Rock

TVMA • Drama, Supernatural, Horror • TV Series • 2018

A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King’s literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories such as Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to Castle Rock. Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller — a first-of-its-kind reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.

Metamorphosis of a Man

For the last 7 months I have been at the edge of getting back out there with Half Past My Sin but with no success... TIME FOR CHANGE...

It's not easy, and it's not for everyone, I get it. I also get that there is no quit in me. No matter how hopeless it seems, I still have the desire to tour and create music, I still have the dream.

Since my return to the east coast in 2001 I have been pushing, pulling, winning and losing. I have enjoyed radio play across the country, selling records across the world and sharing stages with the biggest names in rock/metal. I have declined record deals, and have played my share of empty clubs..... rebooting HPMS numerous times... that is the business of music...

I have played with some amazing, talented musicians and I have made friends and memories for life. We have created some fantastic music together that will last forever and I am very grateful for that.... that is the love of music...

But now I feel it's time for change

I have decided to rebrand the Half Past My Sin catalog under my own name....and continue on the course....  as original as one could get...  no clever meaning, no fancy personas.... no limits or expectations on what I can or cannot do... I have plenty of awesome things in store for me and for you....

I hope you will continue on this journey with me as I reinvent myself... one song at a time....

Stay tuned,

January Update

As I welcome in the New Year, I am pleased to announce my cover band project JASON ARIGONI TAKING COVERI will be bringing you the best songs in rock music spanning the last five decades. From Black Sabbath to ZZ Top, Duran Duran to Disturbed, I assure you there's something for everyone here. I am still working out the details on the set list and how to present this band, but the song foundation and ideas are there. I have a list of clubs who are ready to book and I have begun my search for players.

HALF PAST MY SIN, there has been interest from national booking agencies to put HPMS on the road with some well known acts. We have had some "buy on" offers but I felt it wasn't worth the outcome. I am looking at all available options to make this a reality. When I have more information on this, I will let everyone know the where, when and who will be involved.

 That's it for now..

November Update

Hey everybody, I know its been awhile since I've actually posted anything here... I hope you are well.  There are many exciting things happening and I will be able to share some of the news with you very soon. I have been working hard at creating opportunities for myself and HPMS. As of right now I am revisiting the Origins of the Sin record and the reissue of the self titled Half Past My Sin record. Plenty of awesome music to finish up as I plan my future musical endeavors.

Remember I always believe this to be true..

HPMS Covers Type O Negative's " WOLF MOON"

Jason and his band HALF PAST MY SIN has release their cover of Wolf Moon this week. Wolf Moon, originally performed by Type O Negative was released in 1996 on the LP October Rust via Roadrunner Records. Once again HPMS has tapped Grammy Nominated Drummer Jason Bittner (Flotsam and Jetsam, Shadows Fall, Anthrax) to lay down the drums along with the multi talented Kevin Bias on keyboards. Wolf Moon was mixed by Grammy Nominated Engineer Mike Ferretti @ Architekt Music and mastered by Andy Van Dette @ Engine Room Audio NYC.
Type O Negative emerged onto the metal scene in the early nineties via Brooklyn NY and released such classics as Bloody Kisses, October Rust and World Coming Down. Frontman and main songwriter Peter Steele passed away in 2010 and the band dissolved, leaving a void in the music world.

Wolf Moon is the first song released from the upcoming release of Origins of the Sin, a cover album by HPMS.

"I remember putting headphones on and playing Bloody Kisses and October Rust and losing myself in the music. It took me to a different place and really helped me through some tough times.Type O is one of my favorite bands of all time and this is me tipping my hat to them and their legacy." Jason M Arigoni

In the words of Mr. Steele, "Well that's about it, that's all we have. I hope it's wasn't too disappointing, we will see you on tour, until then take it easy"
